Dear Colleagues,
With the development of "novel coronavirus pneumonia" epidemic and according to the Chief Executive Dispatch No. 12/CE/2020, UM staff members will be exempted from work (免除上班) for the period from 8 to 16 February, 2020, to reduce the risk of spread of disease, while emergency services of different departments should be maintained.
Regarding the arrangement for the exemption from work, please refer to the following announcements released by HRS earlier:
The purpose for this exemption from work is to reduce the risk of spread of infectious disease. Therefore, in order to fulfill staff obligations, staff members who are exempted from work at campus, shall stay at home and avoid going out, unless it is urgent and necessary.
