A group of eight CKLC students, headed by College Master Prof. Zhang Meifang and Resident Fellow Dr. Sun Sisi, visited the Association for Creativity and Music Culture (ELITE) on 25^th January 2019.

The ELITE is a Music Culture Association established in 2010. The task of ELITE is to provide chances for music communication and creativity, to expand music and art cultures, and thereby to enhance the music quality in Macau. The ELITE had visited CKLC last semester and we hosted a four-hour music concert at CKLC together. This time, CKLC was invited to join the event of “A Night with Piano” at ELITE, where students had an opportunity to show their music talent and participate in piano performances.

At the beginning of the event, Master Zhang on behalf of CKLC extended sincere gratitude to ELITE for inviting CKLC students to join such a meaningful event. And she wished all the activities a great success. The piano performance was kicked out by a young student from ELITE. He woke to a sound like the rain knocking on the windowsill, turned the audience into part of the show. The piano performance by Wu Peiji and Song Zhigao from CKLC amazed everybody. Soft music came out where fingers flew over the white and black keys. Everybody were so absorbed in the music, and clapped hands to the music. The students also shared their love of the instrument and they had an enjoyable night with music!

Both ELITE and CKLC aim to provide a platform for students to display their music talents. At the end of the piano performance, both sides expressed strong hope to enhance cooperation, learn from each other, and make further progress together in future!
