To: All Staff

To cope with the operation resumption of UM starting from 17 February, 2020 (Monday), the Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) will continue to provide IT services and support to our users. If you encounter any problem when using our services, you are welcome to contact our Help Desk (Tel: 8822 8600 / Email: icto.helpdesk@um.edu.mo). Our colleagues can provide remote support service according to actual situation, so that users do not need to visit our Help Desk in person.

In addition, to cope with the anti-epidemic measures and reduce unnecessary assembly, we would like to provide you some software tool suggestions below:

  • Zoom:  Through the use of Zoom online video conference service, colleagues can conduct online meeting at different locations as well as their respective office locations. For more information, please refer to link.
  • Jabber: Through the use of Jabber software on mobile phone, colleagues can use their office extension anywhere. For more information, please refer to link.
  • Virtual Desktop Service (VDS): With Lotus Notes profile enabled and SSLVPN connection, colleagues can use VDS to access and use Lotus Notes applications.
