Dear Students,
Life is overwhelming sometimes. Amidst a global mental health crisis, people are more likely to suffer from a psychological disorder. Journalist Shannon Harvey has had insomnia and incurable autoimmune disease for many years. She was eager to make a change. This documentary film recorded a research experiment of Harvey’s journey of meditation and showed how it changed her life. It weaved research into a personal experience that we can all relate to. You can reflect on your experience of practising mindfulness and its importance to mental health.
This screening event includes two parts: (1) free screening and (2) post-screening discussion. We hope that you will enjoy watching this insightful documentary and participating in the post-screening discussion to share your thoughts. We look forward to seeing you there!
