UM Symphonic Band participated in musical exchange and performance in Malaysia in December 2018
The musical exchange and performance trip was held on 21-25 December 2018 in Malaysia, a total of 5 days. UM Symphonic Band (UMSB) had exchange and performanec with Paduka Tuan School and the University of Malaya. Through this trip, members and students from both Macao and Malaysia got to know each other, broaden their musical view, learning from each other. The trip was right at the Christmas Season, thus UMSB had prepared songs like 《Jingle Bell Rhapsody》、《Merry Christmas, Everyone！》for the audience in Malaysia to enjoy the Christmas together.
During the trip, members of UMSB represented Macao as well as UM, they sincerely behave in belief of the motto of University of Macau, humanity, integrity, propriety, wisdom, sincerity. Thanks to our two conductors to make this team showing the best of they have. UMSB would like to thank National Band Directors Association of Malaysia (NBDAM) ﹑their president, their team, as well as Student Affairs Office. They had made the trip happened. UMSB had grown up and learnt a lot, no matter in the musical field or in event/trip planning.
