Important things to note before you start your summer internship
每位大學生都希望自己能夠充分利用自己的悠長假期，無論是外出旅行，參加暑期交流計劃或是開始暑期實習，為自己的履歷加分。那麼有哪些關於暑期實習的重要事項是大家需要知道的呢？
Every student wish to fully utilize his/her summer vacation. Whether it is travelling aboard, joining summer programmes or starting a summer internship to add credits to your resume. But what are the important things that you should note during your summer internship? |
- 實習生需要遵守自己的承諾。這包括暑期實習的時間，實習生需要確保自己的實習期內沒有其他的活動，以免影響自己的實習以及實習單位的工作安排。
- 實習生需要在開始實習前充分了解實習單位的狀況以及自己的工作內容。
- 實習生需要按照要求購買保險，提供聯繫方式，參加行前簡報等。
- 如果實習地點是外地，實習生需要在出發前充分了解實習地點的風俗習慣。
- Keep your promises. This includes committing your time for the summer internship, students shall make sure that no other activities are arranged during their internship to avoid any conflicts with the work arrangement.
- Make sure to get to know the internship provider and the job description before starting your internship.
- Purchase insurance for your internship, provide your contact to the organizer and attend the pre-departure briefing.
- If your internship locations is overseas, make sure to know the customs of your internship location before you leave.
