CKLC Event Highlight: CKLC Tea with professors
張崑崙書院於本月22日舉行了「與教授茶敘」活動，是次活動旨在為院生提供一個與教授面對面交流、請教學習問題、學習教授們的人生智慧、以及與教授們建立聯繫的機會。是次活動吸引超過60位同學、20多位教授參與其中，場面熱烈。
CKCL organized “Tea with Professors” activity on 22 March 2019. The activity aimed at providing students a face-to-face communication opportunity to interact with professors, to consult advice on academic study, to learn from professors’ life wisdom, and to establish personal connections with professors for further interactions. The activity attracted more than 60 students and over 20 professors from different faculties. Professors and students all took the initiatives to know each other and engaged in meaningful conversations.
張崑崙書院院長，張美芳教授，以歡迎詞答謝各位參與的教授們對張崑崙書院的支持。及後，教授與學生們開展熱烈的討論，參加的同學均表示獲益良多。
The activity started with the warm welcome from Professor Meifang ZHANG, College Master of CKLC, to thank the professors’ support, which was followed by students and professors’ lively discussion. Students participating in this activity reflected that they enjoyed the fruitful discussion with professors.

「星期三下午，一打開門，發現原本安靜的餐廳，充滿著有說有笑的聲音，原來，是書院舉辦的師生茶敘。我迫不及待的搬著椅子坐到桌子旁，深怕錯過任何一點內容。短短的一小時中，我不僅僅更清楚未來的方向，更學習到許多教授傳授的經驗。奈何，時光總是在快樂的氣氛中偷偷的加快腳步，茶會很快就結束了。相信許多同學都期待下次的相聚。」

“On Wednesday afternoon, when I opened the door, I found that the restaurant was filled with laughter. Oh! It’s “CKLC Tea with Professors”. I can't wait to join one of the tables because I am afraid that I would miss anything. In just one hour, I not only got a better understanding of my academic field, but also learned many other things from professors' experience. No matter what, time always sneaked up in a happy atmosphere. I believe that many students look forward to the next meeting.”

「我看到很多同學和來自不同學院的教授進行了非常愉快的交流，聊了學習、生活中的很多事情，包括學習技巧，時間管理，生涯發展……等等，也從教授們那裡得到了寶貴的經驗和建議。除此之外，我們還得以接觸和認識了很多相同專業的同學。當宣布活動結束的時候，大家都感覺有些意猶未盡，還有很多的想法和問題想像教授請教。這次活動確實意義非凡，希望能有機會再次參加!」

“I saw many students, of course including myself, having a great time with professors from different faculties, talking about study skills, time management, future career...etc, literally everything, and have received precious suggestions and feedback from the mentors. Apart from that, we even got to know many other students of the same major. When our Associate Master announced that was nearly the end of the activity, we still felt like having a lot of feeling and thoughts to be shared with each other. This activity is really meaningful. It is hoped that I can join this kind of activity again.”
