Once again, “Freshers' Week” kicks off Monday, 12th August, 2019, across the collegiate community at the University of Macau, and the atmosphere at MCM College is proving to be yet another exciting one where new friends are made, advice about course enrolment is given, and former high schoolers transitioning to university life.
College Master, Prof. Kit Thompson, College Supernumerary Fellow, Dr. Patricia Thompson, Vice Rector of Student Affairs, Prof. Billy So, Dean of Students, Mr. Paul Pang, and supporting academic staff, Associate Master and Resident Fellows were at College Hall to meet and greet parents and students.
Matriculation is just part of the rite de passage where a new freshmen cohort becomes official members of MCM College. Student leaders (such as Resident Tutors and Assistants and members of the House Association) welcome and assist freshers to ensure they become familiar with college information sessions, faculty orientation, and of course, Convocation and the First Lecture of University of Macau. |
