MLC Activity Highlights: MLC House Association organized the second semester new member orientation camp
MLC HA held a new semester orientation camp at the College and Student Activity Center on January 19, 2019. The purpose of this event is to welcome new members of HA and to provide them with training on College mission and vision, as well as leadership skill. About 50 members participated in the event. Before a series of team building games and lectures, Prof. Debao Xu, Master of MLC and Resident Fellow Dr. Larry Liang delivered a speech to the participants. Master Xu hoped that HA would organize more educational activities for the students, and actively participate in the practice of Bi-Literacy, Tri-Lingualism, Etiquette and Honesty, as well as “Whole Person” Development. Dr. Liang gave suggestions on the work of the new semester, and wished HA to train more student leaders. The participants reflected that they have gained a better understanding towards the development direction of the College. They have become more familiar with the work and teamwork spirit of HA.
