Dear colleagues and students,

Greetings from the Communications Office (CO) at the start of a new academic year!

CO is dedicated to releasing the latest news about the university in a timely manner through various channels. If you haven't subscribed to UM on social media channels, please scan the QR codes now.


Below please find more information about the various channels:
  • UM Website: the official website of the university
  • UM Today: an internal daily e-newsletter that provides UM members with information about the latest events, seminars, news, internal notices, and student activities.
  • e-Newsletter: a weekly newsletter that provides the latest information about the university to more than 30,000 stakeholders both at home and abroad, including higher education institutions, government officials, VIPs, partner institutions, and alumni.
  • My UM: a monthly newspaper aimed at enhancing internal communication. It contains stories and information that are of interest to UM students and staff.
  • UMagazine: an official biannual publication that reports the university’s latest developments in teaching, research, and other areas.
  • Social Media Channels: the channels cover UM’s latest news and events in a timely manner. They include Facebook, WeChat, YouTube, Weibo, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedln, Douyin, TouTiao, and Tencent.
  • UMTV: it provides UM’s latest TV news and videos in a timely manner.
  • Event Calendar: the calendar contains a list of the ongoing and upcoming events at UM.

In addition to releasing news through the various channels, our office is also responsible for ensuring consistency in the presentation of the university identity and image. We are also pleased to inform you that our office provides guided campus tours for visitors. The tours are available Monday through Saturday, with two sessions per day. For more information or online registration, please visit https://www.um.edu.mo/co/visit_us/visit.php

To help promote our university to a larger audience, we also provide Information Kit to faculties, departments, staff, and students upon request for them to present to visitors and overseas institutes and/or personnel. The Information Kit Package includes the following:
