澳大學生橫琴植樹籲環保
澳門大學日前被邀請參加由珠海市青年聯合會於3月12日舉辦的植樹環保活動，連同珠海市青年聯合會成員在珠海橫琴進行植樹行動，意旨喚起大眾的環保意識。
活動由學生資源處學生服務及文化活動事務主管張嘉茵帶領11名澳大本科生及研究生參與是次橫琴植樹活動，紹邦書院、人文學院英語研究二年級劉格至同學表示，由於瞭解到沙漠化對地球的危害，以及環境保護的重要性。是次植樹活動是很多學生第一次如此親密地接觸大自然，能夠親自參與保護環境的行動令她更有動力參與更多類似的活動。
珠海市青年聯合會為中共珠海市委領導下的珠海市基本的人民團體之一，主要舉辦聯合各族各界青年的活動。
UM Students Participated in Tree Planning Activity in Hengqing, Zhuhai
A group of 11 UM undergraduate and postgraduate students participated in a tree planning activity held in 12 March by Zhuhai Youth Association (珠海市青年聯合會) in Henqqing, Zhuhai. Ms. Sabina Cheong, functional head of Student Service and Cultural Programs of Student Resources Section, who led the group to join this meaningful activity. Cora Margaret Lau, second-year student from Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) and a member of Shiu Pong College (SPC), said that knowing the consequence of desertification to the earth and the importance of protecting the environment, this is one of the activities, which would give students to have a direct contact the nature. It strengthened students’ mind in environment protection after joint this kind of activity.
