Tips for using IT services when out of campus

1. UM E-Mail: You can access, read and reply emails through any Outlook clients or Built-in Email clients from your mobile. For web access, you can click here.

2. Intranet web pages or applications by SSL VPN: You can access those internal computing services and resources securely through SSL VPN. For details, please click here. For accessing Library online resources, please click here.

3. Virtual Desktop Service: With Lotus Notes profile enabled, you can use Virtual Desktop Service to access and use Lotus Notes applications.

4. UMDrive: UMDrive provides you a storage space where you can upload, access and share your working file with your team.

5. MS Office 365 for your computers: All UM staff are entitled with MS Office 365 ProPlus licenses. You can download and install MS Office in your home computer. Please click here to details.


Please be reminded to logout and close your computer after use and remove all the data saved in your personal computer for data security issue. Moreover, please disconnect SSL VPN connection as soon as possible after using the service so that more users in need can use the service. Thank you for your cooperation.
