MCM College is delighted to present "An Audience with Dr Oscar Macchioni", in MCM College Hall 11.30am - 12.45pm Tuesday 30 April 2019.
Dr Macchioni, Professor of Piano and Assistant Chair at the University of Texas at El Paso, has been praised by critics for his expressive phrasing and the amiable way in which he presents his programmes. As a dedicated teacher and mentor, he received the University of Texas most prestigious teaching award, the Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award in 2015. He has been sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution of Washington, D.C., the Polish Government, the Organisation of American States, and the Leschetizky Association of New York.
In this not-to-be-missed session, Dr Macchioni will explore piano practising techniques, memorisation, fingering, tone production and control.
