Tips for Using UMMoodle – How to record my attendance by scanning dynamic QR code?
The Attendance activity allows teachers to maintain a record of attendance, replacing a paper-based attendance register. Besides, it allows students to record their own attendance, and provides a range of different reports.
This time, we would like to share with you how to record the attendance in class by using dynamic QR code. Just two steps:
Step 1: Use the camera of your mobile phone to scan the QR code and open the link.
Step 2: Login to UMMoodle with your UMPASS account.
You will see the below message if your attendance has been recorded successfully. If not success, please try again when the QR Code is changed.
Notice and Hints:
1. The QR code is refreshed in every 30 seconds.
2. Require to use UM campus Wi-Fi.
3. Only support mobile device (NOT laptop/desktop computer).
4. Login may take times but it requires only once. Don't worry if you are failed in the first attempt, just scan the QR code again.
5. You DO NOT need to input any password. (If you see an error message in red, that means the QR code you scanned was expired)
