UM Students National Education, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Tour – Huizhou & Dongguan
澳大學生國情考察及創新創業大灣區 – 惠州東莞行

Huizhou is a city in southeast Guangdong Province and the east coast city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It borders the provincial capital of Guangzhou to the west, Shenzhen and Dongguan to the southwest, Shaoguan to the north, Heyuan to the northeast, Shanwei to the east, and Daya Bay of the South China Sea to the south. The city has about 4.6 million inhabitants and is administered as a prefecture-level city. It is one of 2014 Top 10 “Beautiful China” Smart Tourism Cities.

Dongguan is a prefecture-level city in central Guangdong Province and it lies in the middle section of both the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a major manufacturing hub, although it suffered significant loss of economic activity from the impact of the 2008 financial crisis. Dongguan's city administration is considered especially progressive in seeking foreign direct investment. Dongguan ranks behind only Shenzhen, Shanghai and Suzhou in exports among Chinese cities, with $65.54 billion in shipments.

With the Macau government began to promote Implementation of Youth Career Advising and Planning Services, it is worth to explore the innovation and entrepreneur in the Greater Bay Area and to be inspired for your future career planning.

Therefore, the Student Resources Section (SRS) organizes the "UM Students National Education, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Tour – Huizhou & Dongguan " on 27 - 29 Mar, 2019 and invite postgraduate students to join this tour.

Date: 27 - 29 Mar, 2019 (Wednesday to Friday)
Place: Well-known Enterprises in Huizhou & Dongguan
Fee: Free of charge

Application period: 06 - 13 Mar, 2019
Eligible applicants: Postgraduate students
Maximum number of candidates: 30 students

~ For international & exchange students, please note that you need to apply for the MAINLAND CHINA TOURIST VISA before the tour and the application fee will be borne by students. For more detail, you may refer to:

~ If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum number, SRS will review all applications and make the admission decision. SRS has the rights to make the final decision.
