Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College Held the Valedictory Dinner


On 26 April 2019, Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College held its Valedictory High Table Dinner at the College Refectory. Participants included over 250 students, fellows and college staff.

Honorable guests included Mr. Gou Renmin, Deputy Director-General, Mr. Li Yongxin, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr. Si Hou, Director-General of Henry Fok Foundation, Prof. Billy So, Vice Rector (Student Affairs), college fellows and faculty affiliates were invited to the Dinner.

College Master Prof. Mok Kai Meng delivered an opening remark. He took this opportunity to express his gratitude to the House Association, and all College members for their contribution to the College throughout the years. He also wished all graduating students a promising future. Four highest College Awards were presented to outstanding students, the awardees were Ms. Liu Zhourou, Ms. Choi Kit I, Ms. Wong Man In, Ms. Fang Jiabao and Ms. Siu Lok Yiu.

Followed by the handover ceremony of the current and the new House Association Executive. Mr. Chao Ho Sang, the current President of House Association shared his memory as a leading member and thanked every HA members, fellows and College staff, who gave numerous support to his work. Another speech was given by Ms. Fang Jiabao, the representative of graduating students. She shared her joyful moment in the past four years with the College, and reminded fellow students to enjoy the life in College and treasure people surrounded.

During the dinner, piano performances was delivered by Mr. Yang Ting-Tsan. His performances was fantastic and received appreciation from the audiences. Towards the end of the Valedictory dinner, students took photos with each other. The dinner was over in laughter.
