CKLC Activity Highlights: Tea with Professors
CKLC organized the “Tea with Professors” activity at College Library on March 20, 2019. This activity aimed to provide students a face-to-face communication opportunity to interact with professors, to consult advice on academic study, to learn from professors’ life wisdom, and to establish connections with professors for further interactions. There were about 50 students and professors from different faculties joined this meaningful event.
Professor Meifang ZHANG, College Master of CKLC, gave an opening remark. She welcomed the professors and thanked them for supporting the College as well as taking time to meet with students. Professor Zhang hoped that students could take this valuable opportunity to learn from their mentors and to establish connections with professors for future consultations.
Students and professors’ discussion brought a lively atmosphere to CKLC library. Student Yongyin REN reflected that this activity gave her a good opportunity to have face-to-face interaction with professors and learn from their life wisdom. She wished that College could organize more similar events in the future. Another student added that this activity not only facilitated her to establish a closer connection with professors but also strengthened the sense of belonging to CKLC.
