The University of Macau aims to establish a high-quality learning and research environment for students and the academic community. To this end, the University is organizing an academic forum about the prospect of research in humanities, social science, business, law and education.

We are honored to invite the following guest speakers to share with us their views on the truth and the use of humanities knowledge, the boundaries of humanities subjects in research, and the identities of research in humanities and science during the forum:

· Prof. Alan CHAN, Vice President (Alumni and Advancement) and Toh Puan Mahani Idris Daim Chair Professor of Humanities, Nanyang Technological University Singapore;
· Prof. Ying-yi HONG, Choh-Ming Li Professor of Marketing, The Chinese University of Hong Kong;
· Prof. Angela LEUNG, Director of Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, Chair Professor of History and Joseph Needham-Philip Mao Professor in Chinese
History, Science & Civilization, The University of Hong Kong; and
· Prof. Xingzhong YU, Anthony W. and Lulu C. Wang Professor in Chinese Law, Cornell University
