Registration as the Candidates of
14th UMPA Leaders According to Paragraph 1, Article 37 of the University of Macau Postgraduate Association (UMPA) Constitution, the President of General Assembly, Director General of Board of Directors and Supervisor General should be elected via public voting.In accordance with the provision of UMPA Constitution, the Election Committee starts to accept the application of candidates as the leaders of the 14th UMPA. The candidates must be eligible for application as the following:
1. According to the related rules in the UMPA Constitution and Election Committee, the applicants as candidacy for the cabinets should fulfill the following requirements：
(1) Members of the UMPA;
(2) Eligible to be elected;
(3) Upholding the UMPA Constitution;
(4) All the members of the nominated cabinets must participate in the Preparatory Committee of Hou Keang Symposium all the time.
2. Each nominated cabinet should submit the political platform, an introduction of promotion, budget, sample of promotion materials, and student card copies of the members (all in A4 size).
3. The candidates should submit the application form with the necessary documents, which are required as the above to UMPA office during 14:00 to 17:00 April 8th. All the documents should be put in a document envelope. Please remark the following on the envelope “ The application of candidates to the 14th Management Board of UMPA-- Election of General Assembly and Board of Directors” or “The application of candidates to the 14th Management Board of UMPA-- Election of Supervisory Board”. Late submission will not be accepted.
4. Candidates should submit both soft copy of the application form, political platform, introduction of promotion plan, budget and samples of promotion materials to umpa@um.edu.mo when submitting the hard copy of the application form. Otherwise, it would be count as incomplete documents and will not be considered in the election
.5. The introduction of the promotion plan and samples of the materials of admitted candidates can be revised or increased with the permission of Election Committee. The Election Committee must be informed to put on records for reference.
