2019 UM Staff Tennis Friendly Competition
To promote tennis activities, enhance friendship and increase the sense of belongings among the UM staffs, Tennis Group of UMSSC (UM Staff Sports Club) would like to organize a friendly competition for UM staff members in April and May 2019 in UM Campus. All UM staff are welcomed to join!

- Date: 24 April (Wed); and/or
25 April (Thu), 8 May (Wed) 2019 (Based on the competition progress and weather)
- Time: 6pm-8pm
- Application Deadline: 15 April 2019 (Mon)
- Venue: Tennis Courts nos. 1, 2, 3
- Events: Doubles (American Tournament)
- Detailed Rules as follows:
> All the participants will be divided into Group A or Group B
> One player from Group A will be paired with one player from Group B in sequence. Each pair plays against the other pairs in turn
> The match will be 4 games in one set
> At the end of each match, participants must record their own total games by their won
> Players must play according to the order on the list, unless still on court, even if they have just off court
> All games follow the “sudden death at the 2nd deuce”
> If one of team members is female, advantage of 15 points will be gained at the starting score. If both members are female, advantage of 30 points will be gained at the starting score
> The winner (Group A and Group B separately) will be decided according to the number of winning games
- Group arrangement will be done by the organizer reasonably.
- Award for winners (Tennis Ball)
- Champion: 3 Buckets
- 1st Runner Up: 2 Buckets
- 2nd Runner Up: 1 Buckets
- The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation for the competition
