Dear colleagues and students,

It is a good time to go hiking in autumn. Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs is organizing the hiking activity at Ká Hó Height Family Trail in the Healthy University Week. Representative from Municipal Affairs Bureau will be invited to conduct a guided tour. All staff and students are welcome. Details as below:

Route introduction: Ká Hó Height Family Trail-It is a 1,490-metre long circling trail in the woods around the Hehuan Peak, about 138 metres above sea level in Coloane. The most prominent feature of this trail is that it has a inclination of 50 metres in a distance of a mere 280 metres from its starting point, then it extends along the contour of the hills of about 100 metres above the sea, with gentle slopes and easy foot holds.

Date: 20/11/2020 (Friday)

Activity time: 14:30 - 16:30 (include hiking and travelling time)

Target & Quota: 30 UM staff and students (Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors are given the priority)

Registration: Please fill in the e-form by 16/11/2020 --> STAFF e-form / STUDENT e-form

Remarks:
(1) Shuttle bus will be arranged to take participants to the hiking location and return to UM.
(2) Please bring water or other sunscreen items for hiking if necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes as well.
(3) Please take a look on the route introduction mentioned above, and participate in this hiking activity according to your personal health status.
(4) Students will be given 10 "CS" in the "Healthy Living" area of the Whole Person Development Award Programme. 3 HEP FUN will be given to Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors as well.
