Exchange between UM Volleyball Teams & Guangzhou Xiguan Foreign Language School,
and promote "UM Outstanding Student-Athletes Admission Scheme (OSAAS)"
In order to effectively strengthen our recruitment strategy, OSA organized the volleyball exchange activity with the Guangzhou Xiguan Foreign Language School in Guangzhou (GZXW, it ranked top 8 in high school volleyball championship of Guangdong Province) on 26 Oct 2019 (Sat).
UM has sent Men’s Volleyball Team and Women’s Volleyball Team, the delegation included Director of OSA, 2 OSA staff, 2 coaches and 30 students to participate in this sports exchange activity.
The feedback of our presentation was good. Mr. 韦奕光, the Head Coach of GZXW volleyball teams appreciated our effort and arrangement to their students, the scheme provides the opportunities and goals for their student-athletes.
This activity was a good opportunity for promoting UM, especially the Outstanding Student-Athletes Admission Scheme (OSAAS). We exchanged with the coaches for the training plan, local situation and admission requirement for the respective team. It helped for creating network for recruiting mainland students in future.
