Dear Colleagues and Students,
The inauguration ceremony of UM-AIR Joint Laboratory of Aerospace Information and University Lecture Series: "Aerospace Information: A Natural Time-Space Framework of Big Data" will take place on Thursday, 9 January 2020.
In the University Lecture Series, we are honored to have Academician Yirong WU to be our speaker. WU is currently Director-general of the Aerospace Information Research Institute under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Dean of the School of Electronic, Electrical and Communication Engineering of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and deputy director of the 16th Standing Committee of the Division of Information Technical Sciences of the CAS. He has been convener of the information and communication engineering discipline panel of the State Council Academic Degree Committee and awardee of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. In 2007, Wu was elected as academician of the CAS.
In this lecture, Academician Wu will talk about the composition and technological development of aerospace information. It will focus on the idea of using aerospace information as a carrier of big data, the technologies involved, and the related industrial applications.
All members of the UM community and the general public are cordially invited to this splendid event. Details of the event are as below:
