UM holds graduation exhibition to help industry learn more about students’ skills
The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) recently held the FST Dean’s Final Year Project List Presentation Ceremony and Project Exhibition 2019. The event included an exhibition of more than 20 innovative technological projects created by this year’s graduating students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, and the Department of Mathematics. The projects cover various topics, including environmental engineering, big data, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence. During the event, Xu Chengzhong, dean of the FST, presented awards to students on the Dean’s Final Year Project List. According to Xu, the faculty held the exhibition to help the industry learn more about the students’ creative ideas and skills.
