    University of Macau Student Organization Awards –Year 2018-2019

    I. Objectives
    · To recognize the achievements and contributions of student organization in the year 2018-2019.
    · To enhance the recognition of exemplary student activities/organizations.
    · To encourage student organizations to actively implement more innovative activities.
    · To arouse student organizations on generating more innovative ideas for activities and self-improvement.
    · To nurture diverse campus culture and students’ self-development.

    2. Best Student Activity Award

    3. Most Favorite Student Organization Award

    4. Most Favorite Student Activity Award

    5. Creativity and Innovation Award

    6. Healthy Living Award

    7. Interpersonal Relation and Teamwork Award

    8. Leadership and Service Award

    9. Cultural Engagement Award

    10. Citizenship with Global Perspectives Award


    III. Prizes

    Prize for each award includes a certificate and MOP 2,000 SAO funding. Awardees will also have the chance to be nominated for outbound exchange trips.

    IV. Process
    18 Mar – 1 April Open for applications (terminated at 00:00 am, 1/4/2019)

    8 April – 14 April On-line voting (terminated at 23:59 pm, 14/4/2019)

    10 April Evaluation

    18 April Result announcement

    24 April Awards Presentation Ceremony

    ^ Applicants have to prepare a 1.5 - 2 min presentation for the judging panel. Exact presentation time will be announced on 4 April 2019.

    V. Eligibility and rules
    · All activities organized by student organizations of UMSU or UMPA in 2018/2019 academic year.
    · Activities organized from 7 April 2018 to 31 Mar 2019 are eligible for application.
    · Final result of Award #1, #2, #5 to #10 will be generated from Judging Panel.
    · Results of Award #3 & Award #4 will be generated by On-line Voting.
