Lighting:

Use compact fluorescent bulbs or replace incandescent light bulbs with LED bulbs;

Try you best to make use of outdoor natural light and rather than electric lighting;

Choose lighter shades for ceiling and wall paintings which helps increase brightness.

Air conditioning:

Set the temperature of air conditioner at 25 ° or higher and use together with a fan, which will increase ventilation and optimize the cooling effects;

Close doors and windows whenever air conditioners are switched on;

Clean regularly the filters of the air conditioners; accumulated dirt will increase the consumption of electricity.

Fan:

Use fan more and consume less air conditioner. When fan is turned on, windows should be opened so that natural wind from outdoor will be drawn into the room, constituting air circulation;

The lower speed you select, the more electricity you will save.

Television:

Turn off the TV if no one is watching; avoid using the sounds of TV as background music;

Do not leave the TV in stand-by mode;

Adjust the sound and brightness levels of the TV picture to comfortable levels, not too loud or too bright.

Refrigerator:

Do not store too much food in the refrigerator, it is recommended not to exceed 80% of its capacity;

Allow the hot food to cool first before placing it in the refrigerator;

Check periodically the sealing rubbers on the refrigerator doors to prevent cold air from escaping through the doors which can lead to increased electricity consumption.

Washing machine:

Try to use the washing machine only when it is fully loaded; half load or full load washing machine consume more or less the same electricity;

Select the quick or half load program if you only need to wash a small amount of laundry to save energy and water;

Dry clothing naturally, use less dryer.

Personal computer:

Choose an energy-saving LCD monitor;

Set power-saving mode, the system automatically enters sleep mode without using for some time;

Turn off the computer when it is not in use.
