Dear Colleagues and Students,

The “Macau Energy Saving Week 2019” organized by the “Office for the Development of the Energy Sector (GDSE)” will be held between 9 and 15 June 2019 for promoting the importance of energy saving and increasing our environmental awareness. Our University is one of the co-organizers and we would like to have your support and participation to the series of activities which are going to be held within the Energy Saving Week:

Date:09/06/2019 (Sunday)

Time:16:30-17:30


Venue:Plaza of Sai Van Lake, Macau
1-Hour Lights Off Campaign
Date:10/06/2019 (Monday)

Time:20:30 - 21:30

Our University is joining the "1-hour Lights Off Campaign" where part of the lighting system on campus will be switched off for an hour.

You are encouraged to switch off unnecessary lightings at home during the activity.
Dress Casual Summer
Date:11/06/2019 - 31/08/2019

Activities:
  • Adjust the temperature of the air-conditioners to not lower than 25C;
  • Dress casually if you are not required to wear uniform and when you are not attending external official activities.
  • If staff have to wear uniforms for official reasons, one should choose to wear "lightweight uniform" such as removing coat or tie to support energy reservation while maintaining professional image.
Guidelines for casual dress code:
  • Tidy, clean, relaxing, refreshing and light-coloured but not transparent outfit;
  • Choose clothes made with lightweight, cool and non-transparent materials. Plain or light colours are preferred;
  • For male, wear shirts or polo shirts; For female, wear sleeved shirts and trousers;
  • Avoid wearing vests, sandals and shorts;
