Renowned musician He Zhanhao gives talk on Butterfly Lovers’ Violin Concerto at UM
The University of Macau (UM) Center for Chinese History and Culture recently organised an event in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Butterfly Lovers’s Violin Concerto, one of the classic orchestra works of Chinese music. The composer He Zhanhao gave a lecture in which he shared his inspiration for this piece and how the Chinese legend of a tragic love story is illustrated through the music.
