The Faculty of Business Administration has successfully organized the University of Macau Doctor honoris causa Lecture – E-Commerce Logistics by Dr. Anthony LAU, Doctor of Business Administration honoris causaon 5 March and The 9th FBA Business Week from 5 March to 8 March 2019.
The University of Macau Doctor honoris causa Lecture – E-Commerce Logistics was held at the Mr & Mrs Lau Chor Tak Lecture Theatre, Anthony Lau Building and attracted many UM faculty members and students, business people, as well as experts and scholars. During the talk, Dr Lau reviewed the major changes in e-commerce over the past decade, including the rise of e-commerce platforms and online adverting, and the emergence of virtual reality shopping, which have transformed buying behaviors and the logistics landscape, and the e-commerce market in China has been growing steadily.
The 9th FBA Business Week was held during 5 March to 8 March, 2019. A number of experienced business executives from Accounting, Finance, Integrated Resort as well as Marketing and Management, were invited to give insightful talks and to share their successful stories. The Business week was held at the E22 building and attracted UM faculty members and students to attend.
