UM students visit New Zealand to gain teaching experience
A group of students and faculty members from the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Education recently travelled to New Zealand for a three-week trip for cultural and language learning as well as teacher training. During their stay in New Zealand, each student interned in a public school for over 35 hours. Students say the trip not only improved their English language proficiency and self-confidence, but also helped them gain hands-on teaching experience.
