Please be informed that the Operation System of all UNIX servers will be upgraded to RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.7 on 3 January 2020 (Friday), this is a major system architecture and software upgrade since 2015. As one of the critical information systems, the following services provided by UNIX system will also be enriched after the above upgraded is completed:

- Student Webmail (On-Premises Email, https://studmail.um.edu.mo)

- IMAP (imap.wkg1.um.edu.mo)

- POP3 (pop3.wkg1.um.edu.mo)

- SMTP (smtp.wkg1.um.edu.mo)

All the services provided by UNIX system will be suspended during system upgrade from 10:00 to 13:00 on 3 January 2020 (Friday).

In the meanwhile, the service originally providing “UNIX Remote Desktop” will also be upgraded to “UNIX Virtual Computer Room”, by bringing new level of feasibility of teaching and learning support, service details can be founded here and related FAQ.

All services will be resumed once the system upgrade is completed.
