Academic Supervision: What Supervisors Need to Know about Turnitin (Before Signing-Off on a Dissertation) Co-organized by University of Macau Wu Yee Sun Library Turnitin is one tool which checks the originality of students’ work and should be used by supervisors to check that dissertations meet a requirement of the Graduate School. In this workshop, academic staff will create a Turnitin assignment, choose the appropriate settings for an assignment, and examine an originality report. Participants will also have an opportunity to discuss how to promote academic integrity.
Participants are encouraged to bring their laptop to set up a Turnitin assignment.
