Invitation
Dear Students,

Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CCBS) and Student Counselling Section (SCS) will host several popular science activities to introduce UM students to some challenges facing mental health. This is a popular science activity included in a series of activities entitled “Mental Health Awareness Month” initiated by the SCS to increase public awareness of mental health issues. The current activity would share several classic movie clips with the audience and introduce the audience to what kinds of challenges face mental health and what are the relationships between mental health and the brain. This event will also introduce you to the state-of-art facilities in CCBS and how we could make use of these devices to study human brain functions and how could we take advantage of neuroscience study to facilitate the mental health environment.

If you are interested in the event, please don’t hesitate to scan the QR code in the poster to register for it.

Should you have any inquiries, feel free to contact Owen at yc17663@um.edu.mo.

Please check the poster for detailed information about the event.

Time: 8, 15, 22 October 19:00-20:30 (this is a recurrent event)
Venue: N21-G002
Medium of Q & A: Mandarin, English, Cantonese
