Three members of the UM Library had been invited to present at the “Summit on Global Knowledge Innovation in Service Industry Development and 2020 International Conference on Integrated Development of Digital Publishing and Digital Libraries—Hong Kong and Macao Regional Seminar on the Development and Innovation of Academic Libraries” held by the University of Hong Kong Libraries, the University of Macau Library and CNKI International on 9 September 2020.
Ms. Priscilla Pun, Functional Head of Technical Process Unit of the UM Library had a presentation entitled “Research Support and Innovation Services of Academic Libraries in the New Normal”. Mr. Manson Ip and Mr. Igor Reinaldo Osorio Ho of Public Access & Reference Unit delivered a speech entitled “The Role of the Library in Patent Services – A Case Study of the University of Macau Library”. The Conference further facilitated the exchanges and cooperation between the academic libraries and the digital publishing industry in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
