Mr. Billy Leung, Assistant University Librarian and Ms. Priscilla Pun, Functional Head of Technical Process Unit of the UM Library were invited to join the “Information Literacy Lecture Series of Chinese Academy of Sciences” held by the National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Springer Nature Publishing Company on 31 August 2020.
Ms. Pun was invited to give a lecture with the title of “Information Literacy Education Enhances Academic Abilities and Skills”. She also introduced her co-authored book Transferring Information Literacy Practicesduring the lecture. After the lecture, Mr. Leung and Ms. Pun had an online conversation with the participants. There were over 800 participants from the research libraries in Mainland China. |
