The debate over climate change and environmental protection has surged in visibility over recent years, and energy conservation is an important component in creating a green world. A group of MCM College students has initiated an environmental working group called Vchange, aiming to promote awareness on the proper use of world resources and energy-saving measures.
This is no easy task, and the group started with giving basic recycling workshops to students and encourage them to clean and put recyclables items into their own customized boxes. To bring in cleaned items is very important as rotting food or wrong materials can contaminate the entire recycling load and it will end up rejected.
Students work together in groups and create seven recycle boxes to be used on each floor. They contribute their efforts and creativity in taking small steps for the bigger world. |
