| To give college members a practical experience in the fundamental skills of public speaking and to provide them with a focus for the learning of effective English communication and skills, Moon Chun Memorial College organized a series of public speaking workshops for all who are interested in improving their live presentation skills.
MCM College invited college Associate Master, Dr. Manuel Noronha to be the speaker of the third workshop of the public speaking series “Vocal Variety, Body Language and Eye Contact”.
In this workshop, Dr. Noronha first explained the messages conveyed by subtle features such as vocal tones, body language, and micro-expressions, as well as their impact on speeches. Student are then invited to give a speech to practice what they have just learned. Some students said that this form of learning was very effective. Although they felt scared at the beginning, they got used to it very soon after doing it for a few times. |
