MCM College: 25th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF)
“Cooperation – Key to Business Opportunities”

MCM College undergrads and Faculty attended the inauguration of the 25th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair at the Expo Hall B (European Pavilion) of The Venetian Macao with Macau Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai Nong and members of the Board of Directors of the Macau European Chambers of Commerce. Exhibitions offered diverse online and offline content, and live streaming.

The event was organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), and co-organised by fifteen economic and trade departments and business associations in Hong Kong, Macao and Mainland China,

It is one of the most reputable annual international economic and trade events in Macao. This year’s theme is “Cooperation-Key to Business Opportunities”, and event organisers aim to leverage on Macao as “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” and “Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”, allowing participants to facilitate business start-up, development and transformation.

The College places a high priority with ‘town and gown’ connectivity with local and international business communities. MCM students: Rosen Wu, Eleanor Li, Jolly Yu and Iris Lam engaged in high quality business discussions with members of local and international business communities. Professor Thompson was President of the Macau European Chamber of Commerce 2017-2019.
