ICTO Tips - Learn about Two-Factor Authentication service (2FA)

    Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides a second layer of security to your UMPASS account. Verifying your identity using your mobile devices prevent anyone but you from logging in. It is required only when you access UM ICTO service outside Campus Network.

“Duo Mobile” APP can be downloaded on both Google Play Store and Apple APP Store. You can also download APK installation package for Android devices if you do not have Google Play Store.

"Tablet" does not require phone number for registration. It is suitable for both smartphone and tablet devices.

ICTO launches self-service for getting temporary passcode that help you re-activate 2FA in other devices. The lost device can be simply removed and de-authenticated accordingly. You can also contact ICTO Helpdesk for further assistance.
