Oral history is a method of conducting historical research through recorded interviews between a narrator with personal experience of historically significant events and a well-informed interviewer, with the goal of adding to the historical record. Moon Chun Memorial College is pleased to have invited the Vice President of the Macao Oral History Association, Ms. Evi Ian, to be the instructor of the program.
With this oral history training program, Moon Chun Memorial College encourages participants involved with the creation and preservation of oral histories to uphold certain principles, professional and technical standards, and obligations. Upon completion of the training, participants are divided into groups and started working on their oral history project on the University of Macau. |
