澳大義工隊就職
澳大義工隊就職典禮於日前(19/10)舉行，共有110名澳大義工隊成員就職。
就職典禮上，澳大副校長（學生事務）莫啟明教授向澳大義工隊成員頒發制服，寓意成員履行及肩負義工隊之職責。他致辭時表示，培養有社會責任感的公民，服務澳門、國家及世界發展所需是大學的使命之一，澳大義工隊正是實踐全人教育理念的重要項目之一，同時有助於支持本地社區志願服務之需求，促進關愛文化，向社會上的弱勢群體傳播關愛和奉獻精神，增強學生的凝聚力和對澳大的歸屬感。
此外，義工隊成員們齊心協力參與了"愛心傳遞儀式"，現場氣氛熱烈。儀式表達了團結及團隊精神在志願服務上是必不可少的，結合大家不同的力量，在未來向世界傳播更多的關愛。

UM Volunteer Programme Inauguration
An inauguration ceremony for the UM Volunteer Programme (UMVP) was held on 19 Oct, 110 UMVP members joined the ceremony.
University of Macau (UM) Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof. Mok Kai Meng officiated at the ceremony and presented the uniform to the UMVP members, which expected the members to fulfill and shoulder the responsibilities of UMVP.
In his speech, Mok said that UM is committed to cultivating citizens with social responsibilities to serve the development of Macau, the nation, and beyond. UMVP aims at not just facilitating whole person nurturing, supporting local volunteer needs, promoting a caring culture, spreading the spirit of caring and dedication to the local community, and enhancing our students' cohesion and sense of belongings to UM and Macau.
During the ceremony, UMVP joined together to participate in the 'Pay It Forward' induction session, which created a great atmosphere. Their participation demonstrated that unity and teamwork are essential in volunteering, we can spread more care to the world in the future with different strengths.
