Dear All,

To improve our services, the University Library will upgrade the system to a new generation system. During the migration period (from 18 May, 4:00 p.m. to 20 May 2020), some services and online functions will be temporarily suspended.

From 18 May, 4:00 p.m. to 20 May 2020

The following services are affected during system migration
Circulation services will be suspended:Includes borrowing, renewal, reserving & picking up reserved books, self-check machine, library catalog search.
Online functions of the original Library system “My Library Account” will be disabled:Includes online renewal, online reservation, accessing “My Reading History” and “Preferred Searches”.
Returning:Book drop can be used. The returning records will be updated in the new system after 21 May 2020.
(All library items due during this period will be automatically extended to 31 May 2020.)

Before 18 May 2020

· As the new library system will not retain the data of “My Reading History” and “Preferred Searches”, readers who want to keep a record, should export and save by themselves before 18 May 2020.

· Since the queueing requests of Library materials cannot be transferred to the new system, readers should re-apply the material requests after the new system goes online.

21 May 2020

· All circulation services resume.

· If the readers have previously filled in and consented to the declaration of “Library System Upgrade and Reader Data Transfer to Overseas Cloud Servers”, their library accounts will be activated automatically after the new library system goes live.

各位好:

為提供全校師生讀者更便捷、更有效率的服務,圖書館將於2020年5月18 日下午4:00後,更換新一代的自動化系統。在系統轉換的過程中,部分服務及功能將會暫停


由 2020年5月18日 下午4:00 至 5月20日
系統轉換期間,下列服務將受到影響
流通服務暫停:借書、續借、預約書、自助借書機、館藏目錄查詢
原系統之「我的圖書館帳戶」網上功能停止:網上續借、網上預約、登入個人借閱記錄喜好檢索
還書:可使用還書箱,還書記錄會延至5月21日於新系統內更新
(此期間到期的圖書資料會自動延期至5月31日)

5月18日前

· 由於新系統將不會保留「個人借閱紀錄」及「喜好檢索」的資料,讀者如有需要,請自行於此期限前將其匯出備份。

· 仍在排隊中的預約圖書記錄無法轉移至新系統,請讀者於新系統上線後自行重新申請預約。

5月21日

· 所有流通服務恢復正常

· 如先前已填妥並同意「圖書館系統升級及讀者資料轉移至國外雲端服務器」聲明的讀者,其圖書館帳號於新系統上線後會自動啟用。
