Dear Colleagues,
In accordance with the guidelines (Attachment 1) of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP), all staff members shall resume normal work and operation starting from 2 March 2020, with work arrangement indicated as follows:
- Academic Staff Members
Academic staff members should resume work and continue to provide support for distance teaching and learning during class suspension. The University will announce the exact date of class resumption in due course.
- Research Staff Members
Research staff members who satisfy the following criteria can resume normal duty on campus:
1. Research staff members who are currently residing in Macao (either on campus or off campus); and
2. Research staff members who have not left Macao in the past 14 days; and
3. Research staff members who have not been in close contact with a person who is a confirmed or suspected Novel coronavirus pneumonia case; and
4. Research staff members who will not leave Macao during the anti-epidemic period.
Besides, before class resumption, research staff members currently residing outside Macao cannot return to campus without approval and should work at home. Those who need to return to campus for special reasons need to seek approval from the Vice Rector (Research) via their supervisors and faculty deans. Those who return to the campus without approval should leave the campus immediately.
- Administrative Staff Members
All administrative staff members shall resume normal work and operation starting from 2 March 2020.
In order to reduce the risk of spreading infectious disease and to enforce the current anti-epidemic measures, units and staff members shall comply with the following guidelines released by the Health Bureau and SAFP. For Non-resident Worker’s Identification Card (Blue Card) holders, please observe the Chief Executive’s Dispatch No. 40/2020 (Attachment 2).
