Dear colleagues and students:

We are pleased to inform you that the May issue (89th issue) of My UM is now available!

Graduation is just around the corner. The fresh graduates will soon start a new chapter in their lives. Several students who will graduate soon reminisce about their university days and share parting words for their alma mater (Article/Video). Dr Joshua Ehrlich, an assistant professor in the Department of History, loves to travel to different cities and walk along the old streets. He recounts his first visit to Macao and how this city is related to his greatest passion-historical research (Article/Video). UM students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of over 150 universities around the world to experience different cultures and to pursue diverse educational experiences. More than ten of these universities are located in Portugal. Three students from UM share their experiences living and studying in this unique country which borders the Atlantic Ocean (Article).

Please note the publication of the print version of My UM will be suspended in June and July, while the electronic version will continue to bring you fun stories about UM members.
