Speaker Introduction:
Mr. I Leong Lei is a well–known playwright of Macao, he has received numerous awards, including “Macau Literature Award”, “The Best Playwright” at the Hong Kong Drama Contests, awards of Micro Novel Competition, Winner of Novelette Competition, Winner of Short Story Competition at the 1st Macau Literary Festival. His screenplay “One Week Away” (where he acted as the co–playwright) was honoured with the Best Foreign Language Comedy at the 16th Los Angeles International Family Film Festival. He had been appointed the Resident Artist for the year of 2001 in Hong Kong by The International Association of Art Critics (UNESCO). Mr. Lei has been awarded the Medal of Cultural Merit by the government of Macau SAR in 2012. Currently he is the member of China Film Association, committee member of Guangdong Federation Of Literary And Art Circles, Cultural advisory committee of Macau SAR, Creative Director of Drama School of Conservatory of Macau of ICM.
