Dear Colleagues and Students,
In the forthcoming University Lecture Series, we are honored to have Academician Jiannian YAO to be our speaker to speak on the topic “Research on New Organic Optical Functional Materials and Its Display Applications”. Academician Yao is a researcher and physical chemist, he obtained his PhD degree from the School of Engineering of the University of Tokyo. He is currently researcher of the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and president of the Chinese Chemical Society. Yao is also fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, fellow of the International Society for Nanomanufacturing, and consultant of the China Research and Sakura Science Center of the Japan Science and Technology Agency.
In this lecture, Academician Jiannian YAO will discuss the controllable preparation of organic nanostructures with various morphologies, and probe into the exciton confinement effect in organic nanoparticles.
